17.48.020 Uses permitted.

The following uses are permitted in the I-2 district provided they conform to the performance standards in Chapter 17.56:

C. Manufacturing, bottling and storing gas;
D. Electric central station, power and steam-generating plants;
E. Milling and processing flour, feed and grain;
F. Foundries;
G. Incineration or reduction of garbage, offal or dead animals;
H. Magnesium foundries;
I. Reducing, refining, smelting and alloying of metal and metal ores;
J. Refining of petroleum products such as gasoline, kerosene, naphtha, lubricating oil and liquefied petroleum gases;
K. Planing mills;
L. Power saw mills;
M. Railroad houses, railroad shops and railroad car manufacturing;
N. Ready-mix cement plants;
O. Rod mills;
P. Rolling mills;
Q. Stamping mills;
R. Stock yards, slaughter houses and abattoirs;
S. Textile bleaching;
T. Scrap metal storage;
U. Structural iron works;
V. Storage of flammable liquids, fats, oils;
W. Tanning, dyeing, washing and curing of leather, fur, hair, felt and feathers;
X. Distillation of wood, coal and bones;
Y. Forging;
Z. Reduction and processing of wood pulp and fiber, including paper mill operations;
AA. Production, processing, testing and/or repair of:
