The neighborhood business (C-1) district is established to provide for commercial development of a nature which would act as a buffer between residential development and other commercial districts. High traffic generating and traffic oriented commercial uses are prohibited in order to prevent an undesirable influence on adjacent residential uses. (Zoning ordinance dated 6/3/03 § 7-1.0)
