A filing fee of thirty-five dollars shall be paid to the village clerk at the time the preliminary plat is filed. Payment shall be by cashier’s check or money order made payable to the village clerk of Metamora. At the time of application, the applicant shall in addition pay an amount estimated by the zoning administrator to cover the expense of publishing notice of any public hearing required in connection with the preliminary plat. In the event that the amount estimated by the zoning administrator is less than the actual expense incurred for the purpose of publishing notice, the applicant shall in addition pay the difference between the estimated amount actually paid by the applicant and the actual cost. In the event that the actual cost is less than the amount estimated by the zoning administrator, then the applicant shall be refunded the difference between the actual cost and the amount paid.
