15.36.290 Violation--Penalty.

Chapter 15.36 DEMOLITION AND MOVING OF BUILDINGS

Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in an amount not to exceed five hundred dollars. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such. (Ord. 1977-13 § 2-12, 1977)

COST SCHEDULE

PERMITS, BONDS, INSURANCE AND PENALTIES

DEMOLITION

1. Permits:

Amount	Type of Structure
$50.00	Non-residential structures, including one-story apartment buildings
$50.00	Each additional story of non-residential structures and apartment buildings
$25.00	Residential structures, excluding apartment buildings
0	Accessory building, one story in height and less than 200 square feet in floor area
No permit fee shall be in excess of $100.00.

2. Bonds:

Amount	Condition
$100,000.00	Performance of demolition
$ 50,000.00	Restoration and leveling of property after demolition

--OR--

Twice the full amount of the demolition job, 10% in cash or its equivalent. This exception applies to any owner only once per calendar year.

--OR--

For owner of accessory building who is doing the demolition himself, a certificate or other verified proof of the following homeowners liability insurance:

$50,000.00 per person

$100,000.00 per occurrence

3. Liability Insurance:

4. Workmen’s Compensation Insurance:

Certificate indicating the permit applicant carries workmen’s compensation.

5. Violation Penalty:

$10.00 to $500.00 for each day of the violation.

MOVING BUILDINGS
