It shall be unlawful for any person to conduct the demolition of any building between the hours of eight p.m. and seven a.m.; provided, however, that nothing in this chapter shall be construed to prohibit any work necessary at any time to prevent imminent injury to persons or property, or any night work permitted or required by the director of inspections by reason of extreme danger to heavy, daytime traffic in the vicinity of said building.
