15.28.030 Director of village inspections--Powers and duties.

A. The director of village inspections or his representative shall have the right during reasonable hours or at any time when extreme danger exists, to enter any private building or premises in the discharge of his official duties, or for the purpose of making an inspection, reinspection or test on the installation of plumbing devices, appliances and equipment contained therein.
B. The director of village inspections shall have the authority to disconnect, seal off or stop the flow of water in any device, etc., in situations where due to defective installations or otherwise necessary for safety to life or property or where such devices, etc., may interfere with the work of the fire department.
