Chapter 15.12 BOARD OF APPEALS
15.12.050 Board decisions.
A. All decisions shall require an affirmative vote of four
members of the board, except that the appellant shall be entitled to further
hearing before a full board if there were not seven members present when the
vote was taken. The board of trustees shall reverse the decision of the director
of village inspections when it determines that (i) the true intent of this code
or the rules legally adopted hereunder have been incorrectly interpreted, (ii)
the provisions of this code do not fully apply, or (iii) an equally good or
better form of construction can be used.
B. If a decision of the board reverses the order of the
director of village inspections, he shall take action immediately in accordance
with such decision. Action by the board shall be final. (Ord. 1977-10 §
