The appellant shall file his notice of appeal with the director of village inspections at least fifteen days in advance of the general meeting at which the appeal is to be considered by the board of trustees. An appeal may be taken within thirty days from the date of the decision which denied the building permit. When in the opinion of the director of village inspections a building or structure involved in the appeal is unsafe or dangerous, the director may limit the time for such appeal to a shorter period, but not less than twenty days. The director of village inspections shall forthwith transmit to the village board of trustees all the papers pertinent to the appeal. (Ord. 1977-10 § 4-2, 1977)
