All cost and expense incident to the installation of the building sewer and connection therewith to the municipal sewer system shall be paid for by the applicant. Any contractor engaged in the business of making connections to the sewerage system shall provide the village with liability insurance to indemnify and save harmless the village from any or all claims for loss or damage sustained that may directly or indirectly be occasioned by street openings and work performed on public property.
