Chapter 10.88 SNOWMOBILES
10.88.010 Definitions.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the
meanings ascribed to them in this section unless the context clearly requires a
different meaning:
A. "Highway" means the entire width between the boundary
lines of any highway, road, street, avenue, alley or public driveway.
B. "Operate" means to ride in or on, other than as a
passenger, use or control the operation of a snowmobile in any manner, whether
or not the snowmobile is under way.
C. "Operator" means every person who operates or is in actual
physical control of a snowmobile.
D. "Person" means an individual, partnership, firm,
corporation, association or other entity.
E. "Roadway" that portion of a highway improved, designed, or
ordinarily used for vehicular travel, exclusive of the berm or
shoulder.
F. "Snowmobile" means a self-propelled device designed for
travel on snow or ice or natural terrain steered by stirs or runners, and
supported in part by skis, belts or cleats. (Ord. 1982-2 § 1,
