Chapter 10.44 STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING
10.44.040 Loading zones.
It is unlawful for the driver of a vehicle to stand a
passenger vehicle for a period of time longer than is necessary for the loading
or unloading of passengers, not to exceed three minutes, and for the driver to
stand any freight-carrying vehicles for a period of time longer than is
necessary to load, unload and deliver materials, not to exceed thirty minutes,
in any place designated by the village council as a loading zone and marked as
such, or in any of the following designated places:
A. At any place not to exceed seventy-five feet along the
curb before the entrance to any hospital or hotel at any time.
B. At any place not to exceed fifty feet along the curb
before the entrance to a public building between eight a.m. and six
p.m.
C. Directly in front of the entrance to any theater at any
time the theater is open for business. (Ord. 8-1958 § 5.05, 1958)
