Chapter 10.16 ACCIDENTS
10.16.010 Accidents.
The driver of a vehicle which has collided with, or been in
an accident with any vehicle, person or property in such a manner as to cause
injury or damage shall stop immediately, and render such assistance as may be
possible, and to give his true name and residence to the injured person, or the
owner of the property damaged, and to a policeman if one is present. A report of
each such accident shall be given by the driver of each vehicle concerned in it
to the chief of police within twenty-four hours after the accident. (Ord. 8-1958
