Nothing in the foregoing sections of Article IV of this chapter shall be deemed to prohibit the possession, dispensing or consumption by a minor of alcoholic liquor in the performance of a religious service or ceremony, or the consumption by a minor under the direct supervision and approval of the parent or legal guardian of such minor in the privacy of the home of the parent or legal guardian.
