The village shall honor the property owner’s right to be present during the appraisals. The owner will be notified of the dates and times of the appraisals, so that he or his representative can be present to accompany the appraisers. The village requests the owner’s cooperation in providing facts about the property which will result in intelligent and fair appraisals. During the acquisition process, the village may find it necessary to seek the assistance of additional personnel, such as a land surveyor, who may contact the property owner on behalf of the village.
