The president and the board of trustees of the village have resolved as follows:

A. That all new members of the volunteer fire department pass a physical fitness examination;

B. That a certificate of merit in recognition of service to the community be awarded to all members upon their retirement age or disability; and

C. That all retired members shall, subject to a favorable vote of two-thirds of the firemen, become honorary members of the volunteer fire department. (Ord. 1999-2 § 1, 1999: Res. dated 5/1/62)
