In addition to the duties now imposed upon that officer by law, or provided elsewhere in the ordinances of the village, the village clerk shall perform the following duties:

A. The clerk shall issue notices to the members of the board of trustees when directed by that body, to the members of the different committees of the board of trustees, and to all persons whose attendance will be required before any such committee, when directed by the chairman thereof, and shall also issue notices of special meetings of the board of trustees.

B. The clerk shall notify all judges and clerks of election of their appointment and prepare orders for all elections.

C. The clerk shall prepare bonds or scrips for loans, and perform all other duties which by law, usage or custom, devolve upon clerks and secretaries of incorporated bodies. (Prior code Ch. VI, § 2)
