2.04.170 Nonattendance.

If any member absents himself from any regular meeting of the board unless excused by the board, he shall be subject to a deduction of twenty-five percent of his monthly pay for such meeting. No more than two such deductions of twenty-five percent shall be made during any calendar month. If any member absents himself from a meeting, unless as excused as provided in this section, so as to prevent a quorum, each shall be compelled to attend the next adjourned or regular meeting, or be subject to a fine not exceeding ten dollars, at the discretion of the members present at the regular meeting at which a quorum is present; and such fine or penalty shall be deducted from all moneys due or to become due from the village to the member.
